Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) is the leading institution in the system of higher oil and gas education in Russia. It is a powerful national research center and a real source of manpower for the Russian oil and gas industry. For almost a century, the University has trained more than 90,000 diploma engineers, Candidates and Doctors of Sciences.
Summer School is one of our international educational events that annually gathers best lecturers and students from different countries to strength academic background, expand professional and social network, and to explore the Russian culture.
Every year the scale and quality of Summer School increases: we get more applications from students, we invite new lecturers from other universities and from industry as well, we prepare more intensive cultural program.

UNIVERSITY OF STAVANGER
The University of Stavanger is a university located in Stavanger, Norway. UIS was established in 2005 when the former Høgskoleni Stavanger (HiS) received university status. It has about 11000 students and 1370 administration, faculty and service staff. It is organised in three faculties including two national centres of expertise and the Museum of Archaeology.

THE MONTANUNIVERSITAT LEOBEN
The Montanuniversitat Leoben in Leoben, Austria is the country's university for mining, metallurgy and materials. It was founded on 4 November 1840 as the Steiermarkisch-StandischeMontanlehranstalt in Vordernberg, Styria, Austria's mining region. In 1849 Peter Tunner relocated the university to nearby Leoben. The Montanuniversitat Leoben is a member of TU Austria, an association of three Austrian universities of technology and offers education and conducts research in the fields of mining, metallurgy and materials science.

MOLDE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
Specialized University in Logistics offers programmes in Logistics, Economics and Business Adrninistration, anagernent, Sports Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Sciences and Social Care. The BSc programmesare held in Norwegian language and not offered to international applicants seeking a degree. At master's level, the international programs are: MSc in Petroleum Logistics, MSc in Logistics and MSc in Sport management are in English. Out of a student body of 2500, about 250 are students with foreign nationalities, representing over 60 nationalities.

JILIN UNIVERSITY
Jilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. It is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, and strongly supported by China's "Project 211" and "Project 985". In 2000, Jilin University merged with the former Jilin University of Technology, the former Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, the former Changchun University of Science and Technology and Changchun Institute of Posts and Telecommunications. In 2004, the former University of Military Logistics also joined. The "RNC WPC" association was founded in 1958. Mission of the RNC WPC is to promote the interests of the Russian Federation oil and gas industry in the international organization "World Petroleum Council" by active participation in line with the WPC regulations and by taking into account the interests of other
WPC member countries. RNC WPC has successfully organized the World Petroleum Congress twice in its history: the 8th WPC in 1971 and the 21st WPC in 2014. During the meeting of the World Petroleum Council (July 09, 2017, Istanbul), St. Petersburg was chosen as the venue for the 6th Forum of Future Leaders of the World Petroleum Council.

Society of Petroleum Engineers is an international organization established to support, improve the skills and pool of professionals and young professionals in the oil and gas industry, operating around the world. Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter was established in 2003 with the aim of involving university students in the international scientific and professional environment. It is the organizer of numerous international events at Gubkin University. In June 2018 GU SPE SC has received an international SPE award «Outstanding Student Chapter».
